Drummer Alvin Queen just released his new trio album Feeling Good. A laidback, subtle, but swinging album with Carlton Holmes on piano and Danton Boller on bass. Maybe Alvin is not the most well known name in jazz, but his cv reads like a book. A 63 years career, playing with some of the biggest name like Oscar Peterson, Grant Green, Horace Silver, Nina Simone, George Benson and so on. Most of the songs from this album now on rotation at our Jazzy and Easy channels. Enjoy!
