Ella and the Bossa Beat is a father-daughter duo — veteran drummer Magrus Borges (Grammy-nominated, performed with Astrud Gilberto, Grace Jones, Caetano Veloso) and rising jazz voice Ella Blu — reimagining Brazilian music for a contemporary global audience.

Their album Amare features ten original compositions in three languages, with lyrics co-written by Brazilian singer-songwriter Toco, blending jazz, bossa nova, and modern pop with subtle electronic textures across an exceptional international ensemble.
