Nina Simone - Nina's Back

This recording from 1985 was made after a time when Nina Simone lived in Barbados and Liberia, a period in which she did not make any recordings. Nina's Back features a reborn Nina who appeals to a wider audience with her music. The album contains a number of memorable Simone classics in a band version with the addition of horns and backing vocalists. Nina's Back is available digitally for the first time with this edition.
